Skim Coating
Skim coating is the art of applying a thin, uniform layer of joint compound across an entire wall or ceiling to create a flawless, glass-smooth surface. It's the secret behind walls that look perfect under raking light, modern matte paints, and dramatic fixtures. We use it to resurface tired drywall, eliminate old texture shadows, hide patchwork, and prepare premium feature walls for paint, wallpaper, or limewash.
